The current winner of Le Mans 24 Hours, Marc Gené opens again this season with the Peugeot team participating in Sebring 12 Hours (18-20 March) with the only purpose of preparing for the great event in June and if possible: "Winning the second most important endurance race after Le Mans".
Ferrari test driver who joined his mates from Bahrain says: "I am excited to take part in this race for the first time. It will be a good opportunity to know how we are and work with Wurz and Davidson towards Le Mans I hope to make the most of this participation and win if possible”.
Training base for the U.S. Air Force, Sebring circuit was opened after the Second World War. The first edition was held on 15 March 1952. Today this race marks the start of the American Le Mans Series and is the first appointment of Peugeot 980 HDi FAP to prepare Le Mans.
