Marc Gene was very pleased with the result achieved by Ferrari in Bahrain, the first round of the championship 2010. Ferrari test driver celebrated the double position highlighting Alonso´s great skills and Massa's big race on his first appearance after the big crash".

In his blog for El Mundo, Marc said: "This first success of the race is the result which is mainly thanks to the hard work which began back in June. Many hours of effort have been rewarded in Bahrain. Both the team and the drivers have worked really hard during the pre season and the result is just great".

"Fernando has had an incredible debut. Start in a new team with a victory is very difficult. His and Ferrari´s dreams were made real and Fernando was very consistent during the 49 lapa. In addition, the F10 has been confirmed as one of the most competitive on the grid. Despite not making the pole, Alonso was very quiet. Undoubtedly, the key output has been formidable. This first and second has been very special for the team because nobody expected it. Massa's race, returning to competition after his accident, was also terrific.”

But Marc was cautious: "Domenicali has said that it was also the first race the Championship and he is absolutely right. We need to remain focus and think about Australia as our rivals are also very strong and this year will be difficult".
