Marc Gené signs for la Sexta to broadcast the Formula 1 season

Marc has signed for la Sexta as a commentator to cover all the races of the 2010 Formula 1 season, which starts in the middle of March. Marc adds on to the team led by Antonio Lobato to broadcast a Championship more Spanish than ever with 3 drivers and 1 team.

Marc, who already has extensive experience as commentator after several years covering Formula 1 for TV3 and the Italian channel Sky Spots, commented: “I am looking forward to spending a good time and sharing as much information as I can with the spectators. I really want to see Ferrari and Fernando Alonso wining. I have been covering the Formula 1 season for the past few years in Italy for Sky Sports and this season Ferrari has allowed me to work for la Sexta and I am delighted to collaborate with Antonio Lobato and his team”.

Marc added: “During the week I will work with Fernando Alonso and on Sunday I will have fresh information available to the spectators. Obviously there will be confidential information that will have to be kept away from the competitors, but I believe that sharing the internal view of the team will be interesting for the spectators”.

Marc will comment the Formula 1 races and will guide the spectators through the circuits in the pre-race coverage, sharing his knowledge gained through his multiple Formula 1 starts. The driver will deliver extensive analysis of cars, drivers and circuits and will have the latest updates available to the spectators so that they can fully enjoy the race.
